What is a ScreeningPack?

This ‘pack’ offers an at-home screening service for your suspected OSA patients. You simply provide the Sleep Support Team with the contact details of the patient, we then administer the service and return to you a clinically validated report from which you can make a diagnosis. We currently operate this system within both NHS, commercial and private sectors of the sleep market.

How do I use the ScreeningPack?

Simply fill in the Stardust Referral Form and return it to the Sleep Support Team –to request a copy, contact our Sleep Support Team. We will get in touch with the patient and arrange delivery and collection of the equipment. The patient will use the Stardust and once we have received the unit back, our Clinical Team will validate it. This means that they will determine whether the data is sufficiently robust in order for you to make diagnosis. Any special criteria that you want can be stated on the form. We then send the report back to you – simple. The report gives 7 channels of information in a robust screening tool.

The ScreeningPack provides a cost effective solution to manage your waiting list and referrals. You do not necessarily need to purchase expensive screening tools or place high demand on your human resource. We are more than happy to provide this service to you. Again, there is no contract, no tie-in and no hidden costs!

For Patients

A comprehensive screening and diagnostic test is simple and easy to perform, in the comfort of your own and determines the severity of OSA. Respironics will send to you, at a convenient time, a small device that is to been worn for one night. This device monitors your breathing and other parameters during your sleep. Instructions will be provided and you will also have access to a free phone helpline should you require any assistance. Once you have completed the test Respironics will arrange collection.

The data from the device will be downloaded, clinically validated and you will be informed of your diagnosis within 21 working days*.
